Free Azure waste teardown
Send one subscription's cost export. Usually in 2 business days, you get one screen back: what is running now, what it could look like, and one dollar figure.
No access to your environment. No call needed.
What you send
- Your cost export. In the Azure portal, open Cost Management, then Cost analysis. Pick the Cost by resource view, scope to the one subscription, date range Last month, then Download, CSV, Download data. You need Cost Management Reader or higher on that subscription. On an Enterprise Agreement (EA) account, "AO view charges" must also be turned on.
- Optional: your Advisor cost list. In Azure Advisor, open Cost. Filter Subscription to that one subscription first, then Download as CSV.
That is all. We do not need credentials, access to your tenant, or anything installed.
What you get back
One screen, by email, usually in 2 business days from when your files arrive:
- Before: up to three lines on what is running now, in plain words.
- After: up to three lines on what that could look like.
- One dollar figure: the monthly waste we can see in your own export.
- One question at the end about the work your team still does by hand.
The figure is an estimate from your own files. We do not promise a savings number. You decide what changes.
How we keep it short
- One subscription per company.
- One full month of cost data.
- We take three teardowns a week. If this week is full, we tell you which week yours lands in.
- No call by default. If you want to talk after you read your screen, just reply.
- Not included: a second subscription, tagging cleanup, reservations or savings plan analysis, security findings, changes to your environment, or a written report. For a full fix-list, see the Azure Waste Pass.
Your data
We use your files only to build your teardown. If we use AI assistance to draft your teardown, your data is processed by our AI model provider, Fireworks AI, under zero data retention and is not used to train models. We do not sell your data or use it for anything else. We delete your files after we send your teardown.

Is it really free?

Do you need access to our Azure tenant?
No. You send files. We need no credentials and install nothing.

Will you promise a savings number?
No. The figure is an estimate from your own export. We do not promise a savings number. You decide what changes.
What happens after the teardown?
We ask one question about the work your team still does by hand. If a bot can take that on, we tell you how.
